WHO WE ARE
ACA Consumer Advocacy is an Illinois-based health care advocacy group comprised of health care consumers and citizen advocates with the purpose of educating, motivating, and mobilizing healthcare consumers to actively participate in the process of improving our national healthcare system. We serve as experienced, trusted liaisons to policymakers, government agencies, health policy organizations and others in the healthcare system to promote and work towards achieving equitable, affordable, and comprehensive health care.
Why ACA Consumer Advocacy
We ARE the ACA: ACA Consumer Advocacy is comprised of health care consumers who buy insurance on and off the exchange, with and without subsidies.
We are small business owners, health care providers, and those with pre-existing conditions.
We believe in people to people policy making - consumers must be a part of the lawmaking process.

We are collecting stories of these experiences to see about changing this increasingly common practice. ACA Consumer Advocacy is focused on educating and activating consumers on health policy issues that will move Illinois, as well as the rest of the country, toward a nationwide solution for affordable, universal healthcare coverage.
