WHO WE ARE
ACA Consumer Advocacy is an Illinois-based health care advocacy group comprised of health care consumers and citizen advocates with the purpose of educating, motivating, and mobilizing healthcare consumers to actively participate in the process of improving our national healthcare system. We serve as experienced, trusted liaisons to policymakers, government agencies, health policy organizations and others in the healthcare system to promote and work towards achieving equitable, affordable, and comprehensive health care.
Why ACA Consumer AdvocacyWe ARE the ACA: ACA Consumer Advocacy is comprised of health care consumers who buy insurance on and off the exchange, with and without subsidies.
We are small business owners, health care providers, and those with pre-existing conditions. We believe in people to people policy making - consumers must be a part of the lawmaking process. Having trouble with your benefits? We may be able to help direct you to the resources you need.
Let us know what your issue is, and what state you are in, and will do our best to find someone to help you. Support our work by clicking on the button below.
Legislative WishlistWe have a number of legislative fixes on our wish list to make health care better in the U.S. Some have been passed, some are working their way through various legislatures but there is still a long way to go.
